Noodle from Noodle Canteen

Went to Noodle Canteen on Quay Street in the city this evening for dinner (takeaways).

From the name of the shop, quite obvious, their main 'attraction' is noodle. Apart from that, they have soup, rice, tom yum, laksa dishes too! The price for all the dishes are quite reasonable, that ranged from $8.50 to $12.80. We ordered three dishes so that we have enough to last us for three days (yeah right! two meals more like it!)

Sambal Chicken (thin rice noodles with chicken and fresh vegetables in a Malaysian sambal sauce) $9.20

Satay Chicken (egg noodles with chicken and fresh vegetables in satay sauce) $9.20

Hot Box (egg noodles with roast pork, chicken, beef and fresh vegetables in a Thai chilli sauce) $9.50

The time we spent waiting for our meals to be ready for pick up were only 5 minutes! That was pretty awesome we thought. Quick, easy and healthy meals. They have as many as 40 meals on their menu, plenty to choose from.

The meals are satisfying. Delicious, juicy vegetables, meat that cooked perfectly, soft and saucy noodles that I could just slurp them up!

Sluurrrp...

There are few of this canteen around town as shown on their menu. And even better they also take phone orders!

Oh yes! The dishes that we bought is going to last us for another couple of meals!
