Food Alley

Food Alley (refer to Yay! Weekend! 7/6/08), our favourite food hall of all time is an award winning food hall. We were there for dinner and these are what we ordered:


Com Bo Luc Lac ( Vietnamese Black pepper beef on rice, medium hot) $8.00

This meal is delicious! Beef are cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. If you are a noodle fanatic like me, the meal is also available in noodle as well. Noticed I wrote medium hot above? Tell you what, it's fucking hot!! God knows how hot is their 'hot'?!


Meat Ball Laksa (Malaysian Laksa with meat balls and fish balls, lots of them) $9.00

This is no where near like Kuching Laksa, in fact I haven't found any Kuching laksa around in Auckland, possibly not available in the whole New Zealand. This dish is more like Penang Laksa. It's nice, but I still prefer Kuching Laksa over this one. Different people different preference I guess. Don't get me wrong, this is a yummy dish. And spicy too! After I finished, I was literally sweat like a pig. Ooink, ooink~


Gang Dang (Thai Red Curry with chicken, coconut milk and vegetables, medium hot) $9.00

This red curry is the 'real' medium hot. It's creamier then the green curry that's available at the same stall. It's healthy too because there were lots of vegetable that comes with the dish, which means lots of fibre for our tummy to flush all the crap out...
