New Babies!!

Got a few new members for our baby tank today. We went to this fish shop in Albany and were blown away by the variety of fish they've got there. After we asked the shop keeper (who didn't really know what he was on about sadly) which fish are ok to be kept in the same tank with which, these are what we got:

The Ultimate, Siamese Fighting Fish!!





Although it is a fighting fish, it only fights with its own species eg. other male fighting fish. Ours live quite happily in this small fish community. As seen in the photos above, it exhibits an amazing group of colours: red, blue, purple and turquoise. Below are a few pictures when the fish is in action:









Beautiful isn't it? So at the moment the tank looks like this:



It is a real pleasure and relaxing seeing all the fish swimming swiftly in the tank and occassionally chasing and eating each other, just joking. I won't say it is exactly easy to setup a tank, but the outcome certainly makes all this effort worthwhile.
