My long weekend

Ok this was how I enjoyed my enjoyable Auckland Anniversay / Chinese New Year / long weekend.

Friday 23 Jan:

My long weekend started from this evening. After we parked our car,

We went to the viaduct to be a part of the three and a half day long celebration.

First thing we saw was a group of people circle around watching something. So out of curiousity, we went over and saw a street performer.

Although watching street performers are probably not my cup of tea due to past lowsy experience but i must admit, this one was an A+ quality. He was funny, entertaining, skillful and certainly knew what he had to do to make people laugh!!

By the end of the show he told us that this is how he earn his money and asked audience kindly to donate. I saw a lot of people chucked NZD10.00 or NZD20.00 to him and thought: My God! He actually made quite a bit of money for this 45 minutes show!! Good on him!! Maybe I should reconsider my carrier...

Next we saw a 'Balloon Man'!

He was a clever cookie. Look what he made!! I've never seen any 'Balloon Man' made a banana tree out of balloons before!

Moreover,

He made Goofy (well, I think it is Goofy) after many twists and turns of balloons! What a clever cookie you are Mr. Balloon Man.

During that night, there are bands

food stalls

selling nice food

and scenery free of charge, silhoutte of auckland city viaduct in sunset.

The infamous yacht 'Spirit of New Zealand' was on show as well.

The highlight of the night is of course:

Haha just joking. I am the highlight of all time. But the highlight of the night was:

Fireworks went on for about 10 minutes and it was amazing and loud!! Was a great night all up.

Tomorrow I'll write about what I did the next day. So long~

Oh by the way, the first picture of me and the car... it's on my wish list for this Christmas.
