For some reason I have a strong will to have this fish as my pet, the Siamese fighting fish.

So I went onto Trade Me to see if I can find some kind of a tank to start my project. Found one tank at last which came with three dividers so that if I happen to get few of this fish I can use the dividers to seperate them so that they won't fight each other to death. NZD15.90 was not too bad I thought. So after I bidded on it, I was so looking forward for the arrival of my new toy.
And it arrived five days later. To much of my disappointment, it wasn't exactly what I was expected, at all... Firstly, it was way too tiny! I can't even call this a tank! It is nothing but a small container with a dimension of 31.5cm long x 5cm wide x 10cm high. I thought to myself, ok with this size maybe I can only get one fish.
All sound fantastic on the label outside! Even came with suction caps for it to suck onto something! And a cover for container as well. Like how cool!
Dividers, suction caps and stuffs for suction caps to sit on
Until I found this...
Slits!! What the hell!!
Nervously, I took the container to the sink, tried to convince myself that what I found is not exactly what I thought it's going to do. But sadly...
Water just kept flowing out from the slits at the bottom of the container.
This container is meant to be submerged into a bigger tank with the suction caps suck onto the tank. The slits are so that water can circulate from inside to outside of the container and vice versa.
I am so upset. I feel like I've been cheated and wasted so much money onto this thing that doesn't even serve the purpose.
Looks like my project will have to be postponed.. Damn!
